Under fire Ghanaian Actress, Moesha Boduong, appears not to be perturbed by the brouhaha going on about her interview to the CNN.
The actress, in less than 24 hours after her interview, has been subjected to severe criticisms for saying she sleeps with a married man for money because of the economical situation of the country.
The actress told CNN’s Amanpour on an episode of her show ‘S£x & Love Around the World’ that economic necessity is what drives some women to date men who can support them, even if they’re married.
“Ghana, our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here,” she said.
“When you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get the money…”
A lot of people in the public domain have lambasted her, insisting she is selling the country negatively while some women say she has disrespected their dignity as working women.
But in a subtle reaction to the critics, Moesha took to her instagram page to describe such critics as “saints” throwing stones.
Her post, which was accompanied by a photo of her read: “Allow the Saints to Throw Stones At You … gather them and Use it to Build Your house. Good Morning 😊❤❤🌺” she maintained.
